မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲသူများအပါအ၀င် မော်လိုက်ရှိ ပြည်သူလူထုသည် ၎င်းတို့ဒေသတွင် မူးယစ်ဆေးစွဲသူများကုသမှုခံယူနိုင်ရန် မူးယစ်ဆေးစွဲ ကုသဌာနကို ဖွင့်ပေးရန် အချိန်ကာလကြာမြင့်စွာ ကတည်းကတောင်း ဆိုကြသည့် အသံတွေကိုကြားနေရတယ်။ ကျန်းမာရေးနှင့် အားကစား ဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ ခွင့်ပြုချက်အရ မော်လိုက်ခရိုင်၊ မော်လိုက်မြို့၊ ခရိုင်ပြည့်သူ့ ဆေးရုံကြီး၌ မက်သာဒုန်းအစားထိုး ကုသမှုဌာနဖွင့်လှစ် နိုင်ခြင်းကို AHRN အနေဖြင့် ကြိုဆိုပြီး AHRN သည် နိုင်ငံတော်အစီအစဉ်ကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးနိုင်သည့်အတွက်လည်း ဂုဏ်ယူပါသည်။ ဤမက်သာဒုန်းအစား ထိုးကုသမှုဌာန၌ မက်သာဒုန်း ဆေးတိုက်ခြင်း (MMT) နှင့် anti-retroviral ကုထုံး (အေအာတီ) ဆေးတိုက်ခြင်း နှစ်မျိုးလုံးကို ထောက်ပံ့ ပေးပြီး မေ ၁၁ ရက်နံနက် ၈ နာရီတွင်စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။အဆိုပါ မက်သာဒုန်းအစားထိုးကုသမှုဌာနကို ခရိုင်ပြည်သူ့ကျန်းမာရေး ဦးစီးဌာနမှူး ဒေါက်တာဇော်ဝင်းထွန်းနှင့် AHRN စီမံချက်မန်နေဂျာ ဒေါက်တာဝေယံဗိုလ်မှ ပူးပေါင်း၍ COVID 19 ရောဂါ တုံ့ပြန်ရေးလမ်း ညွှန်ချက်များနှင့်အညီ ရောဂါကူးစက်ပြန့်ပွားမှု ထိန်းချုပ်ခြင်း၊ Physical Distancing များပြုလုပ်ခြင်း လူစုလူဝေးများမဖြစ်ပေါ်စေရန် တုံကင် နံပါတ်စနစ်ဖြင့်လူနာကြည့်ရှုကုသပေးခြင်းများပြုလုပ်၍ မက်သာဒုန်း ဆေးဝါး တိုက်ကျွေးကုသခြင်းလုပ်ငန်းများကို ဆောင်ရွက်နေပြီဖြစ်ပါသည်။

The community of Mawleik including People who use Drugs have been requesting for Drug Treatment center in their area for a long time. Their voices are being heard!
AHRN welcomes the opening of the Methadone Maintenance Treatment Center at Mawleik General Hospital as per the approval of MoHS and AHRN is proud to support the national program. This center provides both Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) and Anti-retroviral Therapy (ART) and was opened on May 11 at 8 am.
Under the guidance of District Medical Officer Dr Zaw Win Htun and AHRN Project Manager Dr. Wai Yan Bo, all staff and beneficiaries are strictly following COVID 19 Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures at Methadone Maintenance Treatment Center: keeping physical distance, washing hands, providing token to avoid crowd, maintain calm and respectful attitude.
AHRN-Mawlaik is funded by Global Fund.
