The collective of awareness activities, including health educational sessions on TB, HIV, and bloodborne diseases, were conducted through a participatory approach for targeted populations: people who use drugs (PWUD), people who inject drugs (PWID), female sex workers (FSW), and community members. The activities were organized by the project manager (PM) and outreach worker (ORW) from AHRN and Best Shelter at their respective project sites, situated in remote areas in Kachin State, Shan State, and Sagaing Division, on World TB Day, March 24, 2024. 

The activities included not only health educational sessions but games sessions, showing educational video clips, and asking quizzes, which can enhance awareness of communicable diseases and prevention techniques among the public while dealing with drugs in their daily lives. The attendance actively participated in each and every program; moreover, the Q&A session took place between the attendance and the lead PMs with the intention of clarifying the unclear questions on communicable disease. 

At the end of the educational activities, the educational pamphlets were distributed to the attendees for further acknowledgement of referrals and the available services of AHRN and Best Shelter, and fast foods and soft drinks were shared with participants as an expression of appreciation for their participation. 

Awareness session of TB, HIV, and communicable diseases can be enhanced through the above activities while focusing on a community participatory approach. Besides, fun activities such as game sessions, quizzes, and offering small gifts to the quiz winner create a fun and nonjudgmental environment where everyone can engage and learn.  

  AHRN (နားခိုရာ)နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်)အဖွဲ့တို့သည် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ မတ်လ (၂၄)ရက်နေ့တွင်ကျရောက်သော အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာတီဘီရောဂါတိုက်ဖျက်ရေးနေ့တွင် ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများရယူနေကြသော အဓိကလူအုပ်စုများဖြစ်ကြသည့် မူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWUD)၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးအကြောတွင်း ထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWID)၊ အမျိုးသမီးလိင်အလုပ်သမားများ (FSW)နှင့် ရပ်ရွာနေလူထုများ စသည့်လူအုပ်စုများအတွက် တီဘီနှင့်အိပ်ချ်အိုင်ဗီရောဂါများအပါအဝင် ကူးစက်ရောဂါများအကြောင်းသိကောင်းစရာ ကျန်းမာရေးဟောပြောပွဲများအား ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။   

အဆိုပါ အစီအစဉ်များတွင် ကျန်းမာရေးဟောပြောပွဲများသာမက ဂိမ်းကစားခြင်းအစီအစဉ်များ၊ ပညာပေးဗီဒီယိုများဖွင့်ပြပေးပြီး ဉာဏ်စမ်းပဟေဠိမေးခွန်းများမေးခြင်း၊ အဖြေမှန်အများဆုံးရရှိသူများအား လက်ဆောင်များပေးခြင်း စသည့်ကျန်းမာရေးအသိပညာပေး ဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ဆောင်မှုများကို တက်ရောက်လာကြသူများအား ကူးစက်တတ်သောရောဂါများအကြောင်းနှင့် ကာကွယ်ရေးနည်းလမ်းများကို သတိပြုသိရှိစေရန်ရည်ရွယ်၍   ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ တက်ရောက်လာကြသူများမှ အစီအစဉ်များတွင် တက်ကြွစွာပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် ဦးဆောင်ဆွေးနွေးသူများနှင့် တက်ရောက်လာကြသူများအကြား ကူးစက်တတ်သောရောဂါများဆိုင်ရာ မရှင်းလင်းသည့် မေးခွန်းများကို ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားပြီး အမေးအဖြေအစီအစဉ်များကို ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။  

ပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များအပြီးတွင် AHRN (နားခိုရာ)နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်)အဖွဲ့တို့တွင် ရရှိနိုင်သောကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများ အကြောင်းသိရှိစေရန်ရည်ရွယ်၍ လက်ကမ်းစာစောင်များကိုဝေငှပေးခဲ့ပြီး တက်ကြွစွာပါဝင်ပေးခဲ့မှုကို ကျေးဇူးတင်သည့်အနေဖြင့် အစားအစာများကျွေးမွေးခြင်းများ၊ ဝေငှပေးခြင်းများကို ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။  

ထို့ကဲ့သို့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုကိုယ်တိုင်ပါဝင်နိုင်သော ကျန်းမာရေးအသိပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များမှတဆင့် တီဘီနှင့် အိပ်ချ်အိုင်ဗီရောဂါများအပါအဝင် ကူးစက်တတ်သောရောဂါများနှင့်ပတ်သက်သော အသိပညာဗဟုသုတများတိုးပွားစေနိုင်ပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် ဂိမ်းကစားခြင်းများ၊ ကျန်းမာရေး ဉာဏ်စမ်းပဟေဠိမေးခွန်းများမေးခြင်းနှင့် လက်ဆောင်များပေးခြင်းစသည့် အစီအစဉ်များကလည်း လူတိုင်းပါဝင်နိုင်သည့် ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံမှု မရှိသော သင်ယူစရာ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တစ်ခုကို ဖန်တီးပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
