Best Shelter အရိပ်စစ်အဖွဲ့၏ ကာလတိုကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ထမ်းများမှ တီဘီရောဂါအကြောင်းသိကောင်းစရာ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို ကလေးမြို့နယ်ရှိ ၅၅ မိုင်ကျေးရွာနှင့်အောင်မြင်သာရွာတို့တွင် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ မေလ ၅ ရက်နေ့တွင် ဦးဆောင်၍ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါအဖွဲ့တွင် သူနာပြုနှစ်သိမ့်ဆွေးနွေးသူ၊ ကာလတိုကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ထမ်းနှင့် ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်းတို့ပါဝင်ပြီး တီဘီရောဂါနှင့်ပတ်သက်ပြီး အသိပညာနှင့်ဗဟုသုတများတိုးပွားစေရန်ရည်ရွယ်၍ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါဆွေးနွေးပွဲတွင် ဒေသခံပြည်သူများအကြား တီဘီရောဂါ (TB) နှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ အသိပညာများ တိုးပွားလာစေရန်နှင့် ကြိုတင်ကာကွယ်ခြင်း၏အရေးပါမှုကိုသိရှိပြီး အလေးပေးဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် တီဘီရောဂါလက္ခဏာများ၊ ကူးစက်ခြင်းနှင့်ကာကွယ်ခြင်းများအကြောင်းကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ တီဘီလူနာများနှင့် ၎င်းတို့၏မိသားစုများအပေါ် ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံမှုလျှော့ချရေးဆိုင်ရာအကြောင်းအရာများကိုလည်း ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ထို့အပြင် ကျန်းမာရေးပညာပေးဆွေးနွေးပွဲအပြီးတွင် ဦးဆောင်ဆွေးနွေးသူမှ ဒေသတွင်းရှိပြည်သူများ တီဘီရောဂါကို စောစီးစွာသိရှိနိုင်စေရန်ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး သလိပ်စုဆောင်းခြင်းနည်းလမ်းသရုပ်ပြခြင်းနှင့် တီဘီရောဂါ စစ်ဆေးနိုင်ရန် သလိပ်ခွက်များကို ရပ်ရွာလူထုအားပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ တီဘီရောဂါသံသယရှိ လူနာများအားလည်း လိုအပ်သောကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများရယူနိုင်ရန် AHRN (နားခိုရာ)ဆေးခန်းသို့ လွဲပြောင်းပေးခြင်းစသည့် ထပ်လောင်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကိုလည်း ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
On May 5, 2024, TB health education session was conducted by a community prevention worker (CPW) from Best Shelter at Aung Myint Thar and 55 Mile villages in Kalay Township. The team included the CPW, an outreach worker (ORW), and a nurse counselor.
The session aimed to raise awareness among local residents about tuberculosis (TB) and emphasize the importance of prevention measures. Attendees learned about TB symptoms, transmission, and prevention strategies. The session also focused on reducing discrimination against TB patients and their families.
Additionally, after the health education session, CPWs explained the Sputum Collection Method and Sputum Cups were provided to the community members. This initiative aimed to facilitate early detection and treatment, ultimately improving public health in the area . Beside, TB suspected patients were provided with referral services to AHRN to get further treatment and care.
