Best Shelter mobile HIV testing services (HTS) team, consisting of the Case Management Officer, Outreach Workers, Treatment Facilitator, and Nurse Counsellor, provided HIV testing, health education sessions on HIV and TB, and introduced available harm reduction services at AHRN and Best Shelter in Taung Kone village, Waipon village, Mawlaik township, and Sagaing Division on January 10 and 16, 2024.

Twenty clients, including people who use drugs (PWUD) and people who inject drugs (PWID), accessed HIV pre-test counselling and testing.

During the waiting period, Ko Myo Win Thu, an outreach worker, conducted a health education session on HIV and TB for clients awaiting testing. Additionally, he demonstrated how to provide primary care for overdose clients. And informational pamphlets were distributed for the clients

Offering HIV testing services and providing a health education session enhances the community with valuable information about HIV and TB prevention, transmission, and treatment options for the early detection of HIV and TB infections. Early detection enables prompt treatment, which can improve health outcomes and reduce the spread of these diseases within the community.

မူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWUD)၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးအကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWID)အပါအဝင် စုစုပေါင်းရပ်ရွာလူထု ၂၀ ယောက်ခန့်လာရောက်သွေးစစ်ဆေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

သွေးစစ်ဆေးရန်စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေချိန်တွင် ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်း ကိုမျိုးဝင်းသူမှ HIVနှင့် TB ရောဂါအကြောင်း ပညာပေးခြင်းများ၊ ဆေးလွန်လူနာအားပဏာမစောင့်ရှောက်မှုပေးရန် သရုပ်ပြခြင်းများ စသည့်ပညာပေးအစီအစဉ် များကို ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ ပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များအပြီးတွင် ပညာပေးလက်ကမ်းစာစောင်များကိုလည်း ဝေငှပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

HIV သွေးစစ်ဆေးခြင်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများနှင့် ကျန်းမာရေးအသိပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များသည် HIV နှင့် တီဘီရောဂါ ကာကွယ်ခြင်း၊ ကူးစက်ခြင်းနှင့် ကုသခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ ဗဟုသုတများ နှင့် HIV နှင့် တီဘီရောဂါများကို စောလျှင်စွာ သိရှိနိုင်စေရန်အတွက် တန်ဖိုးရှိသောသတင်းအချက်များ ရပ်ရွာလူထုကြားတွင် ပျံနှံစေပါသည်။ ကူးစက်ရောဂါများကို စောလျှင်စွာသိရှိသောအခါ လိုအပ်သောကုသမှုများကို အချိန်မှီံရယူနိုင်ခြင်းဖြင့် ရပ်ရွာလူထုအတွင်း ကူးစက်မှုရောဂါပျံနှံခြင်းကို လျော့ချနိုင်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
