The #16Days campaign (25 November to 10 December), marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, highlights the urgent need to protect women and gender-diverse people who use drugs (EVAWUD). The campaign calls for stronger protections, safer spaces, and collective action to end all forms of violence.

The AHNR–Best Shelter (နားခိုရာ-အရိပ်စစ်) organization participated in the campaign by organizing activities at the Drop-In Center (DIC) in Hpakant, Kachin State. These efforts focused on addressing and reducing physical, sexual, psychological, and economic violence, as well as the discrimination faced by women, girls, and women who use drugs.

Violence against women, girls, and women who use drugs is preventable. By taking action together, we can build a future where all women, girls, and women who use drugs are safe, empowered, and able to live free from violence.

အမျိုးသမီးမူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများနှင့် လိင်စိတ်ခံယူမှုကွဲပြားသူများအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှု လျှော့ချရေး လှုပ်ရှားမှုကို  နိုင်ငံတကာမှာ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၅ ရက်နေ့မှစတင်ကာ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁၀ ရက်နေ့အထိ အကြမ်းဖက်ခံရသူများအပေါ် ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်သော ကာကွယ်မှုများနှင့် ပိုမိုဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံမှုများ ရရှိရန်အတွက်ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး (၁၆) ရက်တာကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ကြပါသည်။ AHRN-Best Shelter (နားခိုရာ-အရိပ်စစ်) အဖွဲ့တို့မှလည်း ကချင်ပြည်နယ်၊ ဖားကန့်မြို့ရှိ နားခိုရာဆေးခန်းတွင် အမျိုးသမီးများ၊ မိန်းကလေးများနှင့် အမျိုးသမီးမူးယစ်ဆေး သုံးစွဲသူများအပေါ် ရုပ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ၊ လိင်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ၊ စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ သို့မဟုတ် စီးပွားရေးဆိုင်ရာ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုများလျှော့ချရန်နှင့် ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံမှုများ လျှော့ချရန်အတွက် လှုပ်ရှားမှုတွင် ပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အမျိုးသမီးများ၊ မိန်းကလေးများနှင့် အမျိုးသမီးမူးယစ်ဆေး သုံးစွဲသူများအပေါ် ကျူးလွန်သော အကြမ်းဖက်မှုများသည် ကာကွယ်တားဆီး၍ရနိုင်ပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားလုံး စည်းလုံးစွာ အတူတကွလက်တွေ့လုပ်ဆောင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အမျိုးသမီးများ၊ မိန်းကလေးများနှင့် အမျိုးသမီးမူးယစ်ဆေး သုံးစွဲသူများအတွက် လုံခြုံစိတ်ချရပြီး အကြမ်းဖက်မှုမှကင်းလွတ်စွာနေထိုင်ခွင့်ရသည့်အနာဂတ်ကို တည်ဆောက် နိုင်မှာပဲ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
