International Drug Users Dayis a global observance held on November 1st each year to raise awareness about drug-related issues and promote harm reduction, human rights, and compassionate approaches for individuals who use drugs. This day serves as a platform to reduce stigma, provide support, and advocate for the rights and well-being of those affected by drug use and addiction.

AHRN and Best Shelter organized a variety of awareness-raising activities, including health education sessions on drug-related harm and harm reduction methods, game sessions, quiz sessions, and award ceremonies for winners. These activities were designed to raise awareness among key populations, such as people who inject drugs (PWID), people who use drugs (PWUD), female sex worker (FSW) and communities, giving them an opportunity to learn about the effects of drug use and its associated risks and promoting a better understanding of drug-related issues.

These sessions were led by respective project managers and field staff, including outreach workers from AHRN and Best Shelter, and were held at drop-in centers and mobile project sites in Shan State, Kachin State, and Sagaing Division.

During the health education and game sessions, participants actively shared their experiences, asked questions, and engaged in discussions. After the health education session, participants were offered a selection of refreshments, including fast food and soft drinks, as a token of appreciation for their active involvement.

အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာမူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲသူများနေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ်အခမ်းအနားများအား နိုဝင်ဘာလ (၁)ရက်နေ့တွင် မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲမှုနှင့် ဆက်နွယ်နေသောအန္တရာယ်များအား သတိပြုသိရှိစေရန်၊ အန္တရာယ်လျော့ပါးရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များအား မြှင့်တင်ပေးနိုင်ရန်၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲသူများအတွက် လူ့အခွင့်အ‌ရေးနှင့် ကိုယ်ချင်းစာတရားမြှင့်တင်ပေးရန် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်များဖြင့် နှစ်စဉ်ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိပါသည်။

အဆိုပါနေ့သည် မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲမှုနှင့် စွဲလမ်းမှုဒဏ်ခံရသူများ အပေါ် အဆိုးမြင်အစွဲများ လျော့ကျစေရန်၊  ပံ့ပိုးကူညီပေးရန်နှင့် ၎င်းတို့၏ ရပိုင်ခွင့်များနှင့် ကောင်းမွန်စွာနေထိုင်နိုင်ရေးတို့အား ထောက်ပံ့ကူညီပေးရန် အသိပ‌ညာပေးသည့်နေ့အဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက် လေ့ရှိပါသည်။

AHRN (နားခိုရာ) နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်)အဖွဲ့တို့မှ မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးများနှင့်ဆက်နွယ်သော အန္တရာယ်များအပါအဝင် ၄င်းတို့၏အန္တရာယ်များကိုလျှော့ချရန်နည်းလမ်းများဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာ ပေးအစီအစဉ်များ၊ ဂိမ်းအစီအစဉ်များ၊ ကျန်းမာရေးဉာဏ်စမ်းပဟေဠိအစီအစဉ်များနှင့် ပဟေဠိအစီအစဉ် တွင်အနိုင်ရရှိသူများအား ဆုလက်ဆောင်များပေးခြင်းအစီအစဉ်များကို ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

အဆိုပါအစီအစဉ်များ သည် မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးအကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWID)၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါး သုံးစွဲသူများ (PWUD)၊ အမျိုးသမီး လိင်အလုပ်သမများ (FSW) နှင့် ရပ်ရွာလူထုအကြား မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါး သုံးစွဲမှု၏ အကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှုများနှင့် ၎င်းတို့၏ဆက်စပ်အန္တရာယ်များကိုလျှော့ချရန်နည်းလမ်းများဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာ များတိုးပွားစေရန် ရည်ရွယ်၍ အသိပညာပေးမှုများပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

အသိပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များကို AHRN (နားခိုရာ) နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်)အဖွဲ့တို့၏ သက်ဆိုင်ရာ စီမံချက်မန်နေဂျာများ၊ ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်းများမှ မူးယစ်အန္တရာယ်လျော့ပါးရေးဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများပေးနေသော ဒေသများဖြစ်သည့် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်၊ ကချင်ပြည်နယ်နှင့် စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းဒေသကြီးရှိ နားခိုရာ ဆေးခန်းများနှင့် ရွေ့လျားဆေးခန်းများတွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

ကျန်းမာရေးပညာပေးပွဲများနှင့် ဂိမ်းအစည်းအဝေးများအတွင်း ပါဝင်သူများသည် ၎င်းတို့၏ အတွေ့အကြုံများကို တက်ကြွစွာမျှဝေကြပြီး မေးခွန်းများမေးမြန်းကာ ဆွေးနွေးမှုများတွင် ပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။ ကျန်းမာရေးပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များအပြီးတွင် တက်ရောက်လာသူများအား မုန့် နှင့် အချိုရည်များအား ဝေငှပေးခဲ့ပြီး၎င်းတို့၏ တက်ကြွစွာ ပါဝင်လုပ်ဆောင်မှုများအတွက် ကျေးဇူးတင်ကြောင်းအသိအမှတ်ပြု ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
