A self-help group meeting was organized by AHRN on September 27, 2023, with multiple purposes, including providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals facing similar challenges, such as substance abuse or other harmful behaviors, to come together and share their experiences, learn from each other’s journeys, and offer mutual support among the clients themselves.

The meeting was led by a treatment facilitator and an outreach worker. Eleven participants in total, including people who use drugs (PWUD), people who inject drugs (PWID), and female sex workers (FSW), actively attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Yex Shan Khri, the Treatment Facilitator, delivered a brief health education session on the importance of nutrition for our health and its crucial role in managing chronic diseases like TB and HIV. And then Participants were encouraged to share their experiences, challenges, and successes to facilitate mutual learning.

At the conclusion of the meeting, we provided refreshments to the participants for lunch.

ကိုယ်ထူကိုယ်ထအရည်အသွေးမြှင့်တင်နိုင်ရေးအစည်းအဝေးကို AHRN (နားခိုရာ)အဖွဲ့မှ မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါး သုံးစွဲခြင်းနှင့် တခြားသောအန္တရာယ်ရှိသော အပြုအမူများဆိုင်ရာ စိန်ခေါ်မှုများနှင့် ရင်ဆိုင်နေရသော မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲနေသူများအတွက် ၄င်းတို့၏အတွေ့အကြုံများကို အချင်းချင်းဖယ်လှယ်နိုင်ရန်၊ အပြန်အလှန်သင်ယူနိုင်ရန်၊ အပြန်အလှန်‌ထောက်ပံပေးနိုင်ရန်နှင့် လုံခြုံ၍ထောက်ပံမှုပေးနိုင်သောပတ်ဝန်းကျင် တစ်ခုဖန်တီးပေးနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်များဖြင့် ဝိုင်းမော်မြို့နယ်ရှိ နားခိုရာဆေးခန်းတွင် ၂၇.၉.၂၀၂၃ ၌ကျင်းပ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

အဆိုပါ အစည်းအဝေးအား ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်းနှင့် ဆေးကုသမှုအောင်မြင်‌စေရေးပံပိုးကူညီသူမှ ဉီးဆောင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပြီး မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲသူ (PWUD)၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးအကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူ (PWID)နှင့် လိင်အလုပ်သမ (FSW)များအပါအဝင် စုစုပေါင်း ၁၁ ယောက်မှ တတ်ကြွစွာပါဝင်တတ်ရောက် ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

အစည်းအဝေးတွင် ဆေးကုသမှုအောင်မြင်‌စေရေးပံပိုးကူညီသူ ယေ့ရှမ်းခရီးမှ ကျန်းမာရေးအတွက် အာဟာရ၏အ‌‌ရေးပါမှု၊ တီဘီနှင့် HIV ကဲ့သို့သောနာတာရှည်ရောဂါများကိုကုသရာတွင် အရေးကြီးသော အခန်းကဏ္ဍနှင့်ပတ်သတ်၍ အကျဉ်းချုံးကျန်းမာရေးအသိပညာပေး ဆွေးနွေးပွဲကိုပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် အစည်းအဝေးကို တတ်ရောက်လာကြသူများချင်းချင်း အပြန်အလှန်သင်ယူနိုင်ရန် အတွေ့အကြုံများ၊ ရင်ဆိုင်ခဲ့ရသော စိန်ခေါ်မှုအခက်အခဲများနှင့် အောင်မြင်မှုများကို ပြောဆိုမျှဝေစေခဲ့ပါသည်။ ရလဒ်အနေဖြင့် တတ်ရောက်လာကြသူများ အချင်းချင်း အားပေးမှု၊ အကြံဉာဏ်များနှင့် စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ အားပေးမှုများရရှိခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ အစည်းအဝေးအပြီးတွင် တတ်ရောက်လာကြသူများအား နေ့လည်စာများ ကျွေးမွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
