AHRN (နားခိုရာ)နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်)အဖွဲ့တို့သည်ကမ္ဘာ့အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါရောဂါ တိုက်ဖျက်ရေးနေ့တွင် အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါရောဂါကူးစက်မှုနှင့် ကာကွယ်ခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာဗဟုသုတများကို ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုရယူနေသော Clients များအား မျှဝေပေးနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်၍ ၎င်းတို့၏ မူးယစ်အန္တရာယ်လျော့ပါးရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများ ပေးရာနေရာများဖြစ်ကြသော ဝိုင်းမော်မြို့နယ် (နားခိုရာဆေးခန်း)၊ မော်လိုက်မြို့ (နားခိုရာ)ဆေးခန်း၊ ဆိုင်းတောင် (အမျိုးသမီးနားခိုရာ)ဆေးခန်းနှင့် ပန်ဆန်း (ဝအထူးဒေသ) (နားခိုရာ)ဆေးခန်းများတွင် ကျန်းမာရေး အသိပညာပေးလှုပ်ရှားမှုများကို ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါလှုပ်ရှားမှုများတွင် အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါ ရောဂါအကြောင်းကို အသိပညာပေးမျှဝေပေးခဲ့ပြီး အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါရောဂါကူးစက်မှုများအပါအဝင် မူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများအနေဖြင့် ဆေးထိုးအပ်များ မျှဝေသုံးစွဲခြင်း၊ အန္တရာယ်မကင်းသော နည်းလမ်းများဖြင့် မူးယစ်ဆေးအကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲခြင်းတို့မှတစ်ဆင့် အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါရောဂါများ ကူးစက်နိုင်ကြောင်း နှင့် ရောဂါမကူးစက်စေရန် ကာကွယ်‌နိုင်သည့်နည်းလမ်းများအား သက်ဆိုင်ရာစီမံချက်မန်နေဂျာများနှင့် ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်း (ORW)များမှ ပညာပေးဟောပြောခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားကို မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါး သုံးစွဲသူများ၊ အကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူများ၊ အမျိုးသမီး လိင်လုပ်သားများနှင့် အခြားအကျိုးခံစားခွင့်ရှိသူများ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များအပြီးတွင် တက်ရောက်လာကြသူများ၏ ကျန်းမာရေး အသိပညာများပိုမိုတိုးတက်စေရန်အတွက် အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါရောဂါကူးစက်မှုနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သော အပြန်အလှန်မေးခွန်းများမေးမြန်းခြင်း (Q&A) အစီအစဉ်များကိုလည်းထည့်သွင်းပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါ ပညာပေးလက်ကမ်းစာစောင်များနှင့် နေ့လည်စာအစားအစာများကိုလည်း မျှဝေပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

AHRN and Best Shelter organized hepatitis awareness activities to educate our beneficiaries about the burden and prevention methods of hepatitis infections on World Hepatitis Day.

AHRN and Best Shelter organized Hepatitis awareness activities on World Hepatitis Day at Waimaw Drop-In Centre (DIC), Mawlaik Drop-In Centre (DIC), Seng Taung (Women Drop-In Centre), and Pan Seng (Wa Special Region) Drop-In Centre (DIC), where harm reduction services are provided to the targeted beneficiaries. Awareness activities such as Hepatitis educational sessions, including information on how hepatitis infection occurs, the awareness session for people who use drugs about the risk of sharing needles and unsafe injections that can lead to hepatitis infection, as well as imparting knowledge about prevention methods, were conducted at the respective project sites. These sessions were led by the project managers and outreach workers (ORW) in order to educate the beneficiaries about the burden of these infections. People who use drugs (PWUD), People who inject drugs (PWID), female sex workers (FSW), and other beneficiaries actively attended the awareness-raising ceremony. At the end of the educational session, Q&A sessions were offered to the participants to extend their knowledge by asking questions to the conductor. Additionally, Hepatitis educational pamphlets and refreshments were also distributed to the participants.
