အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းအသိပညာပေးနေ့တွင် မူးယစ်ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းအန္တရာယ် ကင်းဝေးစေရေး အသိပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များအား မူးယစ်ဆေးအကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူများ၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများ၊ အမျိုးသမီးလိင်အလုပ်သမားများနှင့် ရပ်ရွာလူထုများ၏ ပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်မှုဖြင့် AHRN (နားခိုရာ)နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်) အဖွဲ့တို့၏ နားခိုရာဆေးခန်းများတွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အသိပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များအား သက်ဆိုင်ရာစီမံချက်မန်နေဂျာများနှင့် ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်းများမှဦးဆောင်၍ မူးယစ်ဆေးလွန်ခြင်း အန္တရာယ်လျော့ပါးရေးနှင့် ပိုမိုကျန်းမာသောပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာစေရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ အသိပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်များတွင် မူးယစ်ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းအန္တရာယ်ကာကွယ်ခြင်း၊ ဆေးလွန်ခြင်း အန္တရာယ်ဖြစ်စေနိုင်သည့်အကြောင်းအရင်းများနှင့် အရေးပေါ်တုံ့ပြန်မှုများ၏ အရေးပါမှုများကို အသားပေး ရှင်းလင်းဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပြီး တက်ရောက်လာသူများမှ မူးယစ်ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းအန္တရာယ်များကို ကာကွယ်ရန် အသိပညာများကိုရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ တက်ရောက်လာသူများ၏ပါဝင်မှုဖြင့် ဂိမ်းအစီအစဉ်များကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ကာ အဓိကသတင်းအချက်အလက်များဖြစ်သော မူးယစ်ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းလက္ခဏာများ၊ ကာကွယ်ရန် နည်းလမ်းများနှင့် ကျန်းမာရေးအထောက်အပံ့များ ရရှိနိုင်သောနေရာများ စသည့် သတင်းအချက်အလက်များကို မျှဝေပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် တက်ရောက်လာသူများ၏ ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ ဗဟုသုတများကိုစစ်ဆေးသိရှိနိုင်ရန် ဉာဏ်စမ်းပဟေဠိမေးခွန်းများမေးခြင်းအစီအစဉ်ကို ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်၍ ကိုယ်တိုင်ပါဝင်စေခြင်းဖြင့် ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းအန္တရာယ်နှင့်သက်ဆိုင်သော အသိပညာများကိုရရှိစေခဲ့ပြီး ဖြေဆိုအနိုင်ရရှိသူများကို လက်ဆောင်များချီးမြှင့်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက်တွင် မူးယစ်ဆေးလွန်ခြင်းနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သော လက်ကမ်းစာစောင်များကို ဝေငှပေးခဲ့သည့်အပြင် တက်ရောက်လာသူများအား နေ့လည်စာ အစားအစာများ ကျွေးမွေးခဲ့ပြီး အခမ်းအနားများကို နေ့လည်ပိုင်းတွင် အောင်မြင်စွာပိတ်သိမ်းခဲ့ပါသည်။
Overdose prevention awareness activities were organized at AHRN and Best Shelter project sites on International Overdose Day.
Impactful and engaging overdose prevention awareness activities were organized on International Overdose Awareness Day at AHRN and Best Shelter Drop-in Center With the participation of people who inject drugs (PWID), people who use drugs (PWUD), female sex workers (SW), and community members. The awareness activities were organized by respective project managers and outreach workers with the intention of raising awareness about overdose prevention and promoting a healthier community.
The sessions, including overdose prevention health education sessions led by the project manager, shed light on the importance of overdose prevention, risk factors, and emergency responses. Participants gained valuable insights into safeguarding their health. Interactive games engaged participants and conveyed essential information in a fun and memorable way. Through these games, participants learned about overdose signs, prevention strategies, and support resources. Additionally, Quiz sessions challenged participants’ knowledge about overdose prevention. These engaging sessions encouraged active learning and highlighted key facts related to overdose risks. Moreover, winners of the quiz sessions were awarded with small gifts, and pamphlets containing essential information about overdose prevention, emergency responses, and available support services were distributed. Refreshments were provided to ensure participants remained energized throughout the day. Finally, the awareness events concluded successfully by midday.
