HIV ကာကွယ်ရေးအတွက် (PrEP) အကြောင်းသိကောင်းစရာပညာပေး အစီအစဉ်အား ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလ ၂၉ ရက်နေ့တွင် ဝိုင်းမော်မြို့နယ်ရှိ AHRN (နားခိုရာ)ဆေးခန်း၌ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ အသိပညာပေးဆွေးနွေးပွဲအား စိတ်ပါဝင်စားသူ အမျိုးသား/အမျိုးသမီး စုစုပေါင်း (၉) ဉီးတတ်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး PrEP သည် HIV ရောဂါကာကွယ်ရေးတွင်အရေးပါကြောင်း စိတ်အားထက်သန်စွာ လေ့လာသင်ယူခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
စီမံကိန်းမန်နေဂျာ ဒေါက်တာရန်နောင်စိုးမှ (PrEP) သည် HIV တိုက်ဖျက်ရေးအတွက် အရေးကြီးသော အရာတစ်ခုဖြစ်ကြောင်းနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်းသည့် အသိပညာများအပါအဝင် HIV ကူးစက်ခံရနိုင်ခြေရှိသော လူများကြားတွင် ကူးစက်မှုအန္တရာယ်ကို လျှော့ချရန် ထိရောက်သောနည်းလမ်းဆိုင်ရာအသိပညာနှင့် သတင်းအချက်အလက်များကို မျှဝေပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါ ပညာပေးအစီအစဉ်တွင် တတ်ရောက်လာကြသော အမျိုးသား၊ အမျိုးသမီးများမှ တတ်ကြွစွာပါဝင်ဆွေးနွေးခြင်း၊ မေးခွန်းများမေးခြင်းနှင့် ၎င်းတို့၏ အတွေးအမြင်များကို မျှဝေခဲ့ကြပြီး ၎င်းတို့၏ ဘဝတူများ (peers)နှင့် ရပ်ရွာ ပြည်သူလူထုများ (community) ကြားတွင် PrEP အကြောင်း သတင်းစကားများ ဖြန့်ကျက်မျှဝေပေးရန် ၎င်းတို့၏ ကတိကဝတ်များကို ဖော်ပြခဲ့ကြသည်။
မူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများ၊ အမျိုးသမီး လိင်လုပ်သားများ နှင့် လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းများကြားတွင် PrEP ကဲ့သို့သော HIV ကာကွယ်မှုနည်းလမ်းများဆိုင်ရာ အချက်အလက်များကို ဖြည့်ဆည်းပေးခြင်းဖြင့်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ပိုမိုကျန်းမာပြီး ပိုမိုသိရှိနိုင်သော အသိုက်အဝန်းဆီသို့ သိသာထင်ရှားသော ခြေလှမ်းတစ်ရပ်ကို လှမ်းလျက်ရှိပါသည်။
Empowering Communities: HE Session on PrEP at Waimaw Drop-in Center
A Health Education (HE) session was recently conducted at the Waimaw Drop-in Centre on September 29, 2023, with a focus on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention. Nine male and female clients were brought together during this session, all of whom were eager to learn more about PrEP and its significance in HIV prevention.
Yan Naung Soe, project manager, shared that pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a critical tool in the fight against HIV. It offers an effective way to reduce the risk of HIV infection among individuals at high risk. PrEP was at the heart of our session, with informative discussions on its effectiveness and eligibility criteria.
Both male and female clients actively participated in the session. They asked questions, shared their thoughts, and expressed their commitment to spreading the word about PrEP among their peers and communities.
By equipping our clients (PWID, PWUD and FSW) with information on HIV prevention methods like PrEP, we are taking a significant step towards a healthier, more informed community.
